We are constantly anticipating the future of the industry and often begin a year or more in advance to bring our customers the products they will need down the road. Keeping pace with the latest trends in the market, knowing what our customers will want and when they will want it, providing educational and promotional support materials and selecting products of the highest caliber, is all part of the progressive marketing that distinguishes Roba & Associates from other Manufacturers' Representatives in the industry.
In 1960, John started working the retail side of this industry by owning a camping store. John had developed a strong sense of what worked in the industry and what consumers wanted. He observed the potential for tremendous growth within the Recreational Vehicle and Manufactured Housing Industry as more and more suppliers continued to enter the market.
He saw an expressed need in the marketplace for a professional organization to serve as a clearinghouse between the numerous and varied suppliers entering the industry and the dealers & distributors who worked to bring products to the end user.
In 1970, Roba & Associates was established to meet that need. As Manufacturers' Representatives, the company worked with distributors and manufacturers to insure an orderly flow of products and information to the consumer.
Today, Roba & Associates also provides assistance to the dealer and distributor with inventory control, catalogs, pricing information, advertising and sales promotion and continues to be a leader in the industry.
At Roba & Associates, no product line will be endorsed unless it conforms to strict guidelines for performance and marketability. Through market research and thorough knowledge of the products we choose to represent and sell, Roba & Associates stands behind each and every item with confidence and pride.
As our family-owned and operated company enters its second generation, we have carried out the commitment to quality upon which the company was founded. Our staff takes personal pride in knowing that our product lines represent the best possible solutions to problems that arise for the end user.
